Biography
About Adam
Adam Shane is the head of municipal bond portfolio management at Northern Trust Asset Management. He co-manages numerous tax exempt fixed income funds.
Previously at NTAM, Adam was director of high yield municipal fixed income and director of fixed income research. He led a team of corporate, financial, municipal, and sovereign analysts in Chicago, London, and Bangalore, providing fundamental credit research in support of NTAM's fixed income capabilities.
Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2010, Adam was a senior research analyst at Nuveen Investments.
Adam earned an MBA in accounting and finance from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s in history from Williams College. He is a CFA® charterholder, a member of the CFA Society Chicago, the CFA Institute, the Chicago Municipal Analysts Society and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.
